The American Founders and those of them, like Madison who played a key role in Framing the Constitution, were almost entirely White Anglo-Saxon Protestants (I think that only ONE of the 52 "official" Founders was a Catholic), likewise,he overwhelming proportion of the population of the 13 colonies in the Founding era/Revolutionary era.
The most fundamental of the Founding document's is Thomas Jefferson's "Declaration of Independence" (1776), although Jefferson was not the real author of the "Declaration." All of the famous moral and political principles in the "Declaration" were, in fact, taken from a text called "Two Treatises on Government" which was written by John Locke (1632 -1704) and first published in 1689. Jefferson was perfectly open in admitting this - it is just one of those facts that history - for whatever reasons (?) - seemed to overlook.
John Locke was a genius - one of the greatest thinkers of the 17th- century English Enlightenment. Locke was also a devout Christian, and the well-known passages in the "Declaration of Independence regarding the each man's unalienable right to:life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness/(possession of private property) where taken directly from "Two Treatises on Government" Locke derived the natural rights specified in the "Declaration" from his belief in the theory of the "Natural Law" Locke believed the Natural Law had been ordained by God almighty - that is. the God of Christianity. In the Declaration, Jefferson lists the absolute and inalienable rights of man as: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; Locke had them as : life,liberty and the possion of (private) property. The reason Jefferson substitutes "persuit of happiness" for private property, is that Locke also argued that a person's individual inner "self" was also a form of property that the individual possessed, and via a rather dubious interpretation of this Jefferson came up with the idea of "the "pursuit of happiness" being a natural right. He should have kept Locke's original "natural right" of the individual to the possession of property and not fart-assed around with the original text.
So, the "Declaration of Independence" is DEEPLY-ROOTED in the Christian faith.
The "Declaration" was the all-important, moral foundation that the US Constitution was built upon. The Framers also drew on many other Lockian principles of government (e.g, the doctrine of the separation of powers) that were set down in Two Treatises of Government in drafting the US Constitution. It is important to realise that all of Locke's political theory was deeply-rooted in his Christian faith (Locke was a Protestant - a member of the Anglican Church during his lifetime. And he can be consider the Intellectual Father of the Republic (I say "intellectual"' in the sense that John Locke himself passed away in 1704, several decades before 1776. Though his voice was heard very clearly through his published works. Make no mistake, it was a dead Englishman, the devout Christian political philosopher, John Locke, who lit the fuse of the American Revolutionary War, then effectively drafted the new republic's Constitution.
I have no doubt that the Founding Fathers of America wanted future citizens of the republic to be white Anglo-Americans or stock descended from North-Western Europe and Christians, because The Founders themselves, were Anglo-American Protestants - most of the 52 Founders were likely the descendants of English Puritans, and during the Revolutionary era, something like 90% of the population of the American colonies was Anglo-American Protestant, all of whom firmly believed in the Christian "Natural Law" theory. Given this, there is a curious passage in the Constitution that I will transcribe below....
US CONSTITUTION: ARTICLE VI, CLAUSE 3....
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of several State Legislatures, and all Executive and Judicial officers, both of the United States and the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation to support the Constitution: BUT NO RELIGIOUS TEST SHALL EVER BE REQUIRED AS A QUALIFICATION TO ANY OFFICE OR PUBLIC TRUST UNDER THE UNITED STATES."
The upshot of this clause of the Constitution is that it allow individuals like Ihan Omar, who is a Muslim, to be seated in Congress. A Muslim, like Ilhan Omar, is a member of the religion of Islam, and Islam is an inherently violent and expansionist "religion. It is better understood , in fact, as a type of fascist, totalitarian political ideology.Moreover, Islam has a legal system known as Sharia Law whose cruel and barbaric (medieval) punishments include: execution (by such primitive means as stoning to death in public, and for such crimes as "apostacy"), amputation of hands and/or feet, public whipping/floggings/beatings. Polygamy is legal for men, any woman not wearing a Hijab can be lawfully raped, women who commit adultery are executed;women can be lawfully raped and beaten by their husbands, and have no rights to education or many other basic human rights under Sharia Law. ISLAM is NOT a RELIGON OF PEACE Muhammad, was a blood-thirsty psychopath would waged almost 90 major battle. He is known to have personally beheaded HUNDREDS of prisoners taken (during a battle) in a single session. Muhammad was also a pedophile who married a 12 year old year. He preached "the sword" and lived by "the sword". His life's mission was to converts the world's infidel (an infidel was any person who did not worship Allah as a muslim) Muhammad preached that infidels must convert to Islam,or, pay a specified tax, or be executed Lastly, Muslims do not like ANYTHING about America (to put it mildly). In places like Iran, America is called "the Great Satan" and Death to America" has been chanted by Iranian mobs at potitical demonstrations for many years.
President Trump was right to place a travel ban on Muslims from violent States known to have been engaged in terrorism, etc; travelling to America. It is a shame that he did not have the opportunity to ban ALL Muslims from entering America on a permanent basis.
There are FOUR Muslims in Congress at present. Given they all hate America (the Constitutional republic) and seek to harm America. WTF is going on ?. Why are they not kicked out of Congress immediately (?) - all it would take is for Article VI, Clause III of the Constitution to be expunged. What's left of the native, White (European) people (still accounts for 60% of the US national population) - would absolutely endorse such a change if the question were put to a national referendum (plebescite).
WHAT WOULD THE FOUNDERS AND FRAMERS (OF THE US CONSTITUTION) THINK IF THEY COULD SEE AMERICA AS IT IS TODAY?
Thats an easy question to answer - they would be shocked and appalled to the core when they saw what had been done to their plan for a great new republic. Then they would probably get really ANGRY. I can imagine Benjamin Franklin shouting:"Who are the bastards responsible for this?! Alexander Hamilton would just say, in disbelief :"You're f**king joking ?!", when BLM, CRT (and transgenderism) were explained to him. If George Washington was taken to the Southern Border and briefed on the current situation re illegal immigration, I think he would faint; the diabolical reality would simply be too much for his mind to cope with. When he regained consciousness, I think Washington would need to be physically restrained from galloping to Delaware, hunting down Biden, and giving him "a taste of cold steel."
What could honestly be said to these Founders and Framers who had arrived in America in 2023, by way of explaining the monumental BALLS-UP that America's political leadership (in the modern era) had made of their great vision . Yes... we f**ked up your vision for a great new republic. It wasn't your fault in any way. The Founding documents: the"Declaration" and theConstitution/Bill of Rights were pretty much "good as gold" and from the late 18th - century - let's say, 1790 - to 1965, everything was sweet as a nut - better - America took off like a rocket, the US was the most advanced and powerful of all the Western nation. In 1965, the only social problems were to do with African-Americans (former slaves) In 1865, a President called Abraham Lincoln tried to repatriate former African slave, but he was assassinated and his deportation project never became a reality. This subsequently resulted in an inordinate amount of social and political strife, which is ongoing today. But if you want to know why America is in the state it currently is, the answer is immigration policy. On October 3rd, 1965, a left-progressive President named Lyndon Baines Johnson signed what was/is called the "Hart-Celler Immigration Act into Law." The Hart-Celler Act opened America's border to immigration from the coloured Third World. In 1965, White Western Europeans made up over 85% of America's population; today in 2023 the percentage of the nations population who are White (from Northe-West European stock) has fallen to below 60%, and is predicted to continue declining until the White (European) population becomes a (politically) powerless minority at some point later in this century. As the non-white percentage of the American population steadily increased after 1965, the more vision of America as a constitutional repbublic began to unravel. I think this is because the "Declaration" and the "Constitution" were documents developed BY and FOR for the White Western mind The values and principles in the Founding document can only ever strike a true chord/ fully resonate in the mind and spirit of the White individual who is descended from forebears in the far North - Western region os Europe. To the Black African; the Australian Aboriginal, the Cuban the Hispanic/latino; Arab and Asian (Vietnamese, Cambodian, etc), the words of the "Declaration of Independence", when recited, to them, are merely the sound of a "clanging cymbal". They are essentially meaningless for coloured immigrants from the 3rd -World, especially given that many who arrived in the US had little education and many were unable to speak English. There are some coloured immigrants and African-American who are able to genuinely grap the moral , legal and political principles that America was founded on, but this is only possible for those with a relatively high IQ. For instance, the average IQ of the African-American is 85 points- and that relatively low compared to White Americans. The upshot is that most of the Black Americans do not genuinely understand the the moral, legal and political tents in the Founding documents. They don't understand them, and they are therefore not interested in them, and basically couldn't give a hairy rat's ass about the meaning of "America" as you gentlemen understood it.
