"Intelligent design" creationism basically finished

What more do we need to do other than arise in this universe each morning to see that the ID theory is absurd?

Unless, of course, one believes that the "creator" is a sadistic scumbag.

Then it's a more reasonable speculation, but there's still no evidence.

It is religion, true. So is the Theory of abiogenesis. It shouldn't be taught in schools either. Same for the Theory of Evolution. Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection has been falsified.
The Theory of the Big Bang is also a religion. It shouldn't be taught in school either.

None of it is science.

You what else is religion? The Church of the Ozone Hole. The Church of Green. The Church of Global Warming. The Church of Covid.

Guess schools DO teach religion after all.

Evolution has been literally observed in fast evolving species like fruit flies.
It's accepted fact more than theory.

I stand corrected, then, but theory may be taught in schools if presented as theory.
ID isn't a legitimate theory.
Not much evidence for stuff pulled out of one's rectum.
It may be taught if presented as cult superstition, however.

The Theory of Evolution (that higher life forms evolved from lower life forms) is not a theory of science. It is religion. Nothing about the popularity of this religion make it more than just a theory. A nonscientific theory.
