It’s the other way around, Stone. Assault rifle is a select fire military weapon. Assault weapon is a gun-grabbing fabricated Democrat term for a scary-looking semi-automatic rifle.

That’d be sweet to have but I’d settle for a higher end Type 99 IJA version…with bayonet. :)

I saw there are 30-06 South Korean/Thai conversions, which would be interesting, but would prefer the 7.7MM.

As the link below mentions, the ammo shortage during the Obama administration is one reason why I prefer to buy ammo in bulk, especially the rarer types.

The same place where it says you cannot ban abortions and gay marriages. Slavery is illegal, but banning mixed marriages is not.

BTW, assault rifles are very expensive and require special licenses. Semi auto rifles/assault weapons are not as expensive.
