Putin had eyes on Ukraine throughout the Trump years, starting in 2014 with various incursions. So as I've said before, you can't lay it all on Biden although he's surely done his part.

Yes, the Russians have been anxious about NATO incursions for quite some time- but this is Biden's Nord Stream war. He said he would shut it down - and I believe that to be among his motives for refusing to listen to Russian requests for secure Russian borders. It didn't blow up on its own.
The creep is probably beating his breast over the destruction and deaths in Ukraine due to invasion while totally ignoring the US-backed destruction and deaths in Palestine due to invasion.
American presidents appear to be elected according to their ability to ignore accusations of crass hypocrisy. They must have some form of AIPAC skin-thickness tests before they're allowed candidature.

The Germans- as you know- were on the verge of licensing Nord Stream Two before Biden intervened with threats.
It's quite obvious how desperate Biden was to prevent Russian/EU commercial integration. This is Biden's war .
