First, no private residences of Presidents keep visitor logs, and secondly, no President has ever handed over WH visitor logs to anyone, legally they aren’t required to by law

The House leadership knows this, but so that they can generate media attention, especially in the uninformed MAGA media, they demand the same, and the fact they never even hinted at visitor logs at any of the prior President’s residences just further exposes their hypocrisy

What was demanded of Trump, and which he fought, were logs relevant to a specific time and event, the request had a designed purpose, and they never demanded logs from Maralogo. What the House wants now is generalized information that doesn’t even exist, and they know it, only a stupid stunt for time on Fox, which apparently you swallowed

I didn’t never said I didn’t understand what the House is doing, rather pointing out that it is so overtly visible that it becomes absurd, everyone can recognize easily what is happening

And if you are going to raise the Trump as martyr bullshit, which I suppose is your “rules” logic, keep in mind, dating back to Clinton, Obama, and then Hillary, the GOP in the House ran continuous fishing “investigations” against anything and everything Clinton/Obama. In fact, it was these shames that got both Clinton and Obama easily re-elected

GOP demands? Is that something? Trump and his minions showed congress can be ignored . Summons can get ignored. The law does not apply anymore.
