About 3.1 million US citizens who signed up for the plans are new enrollees


Nearly 16 million Americans have so far signed up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act's marketplace, a 13% jump from a year earlier, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on Wednesday.

Enrollment for 2023 healthcare plans under the Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare, is open between Nov. 1 and Jan. 15.

Why? Trump and the Repubs replaced it with a much better plan that is a lot cheaper. It is called eliminating it and letting the poor and middle class die.
 
I thank God was one of those ppl. My lousy foreign owned Mumbai job refused us company sponsered healthcare this year and forced us all onto the exchanges. both public and private. To say it was daunting and stressful would be a understatment....30 plus odd years in the work force and now that I'm nearing retirment these foreign bastards pull this shit. I thank God every day for ACA, else me and my coworkers would be out of insuance coverage this year...and the best part, it was cheaper and better than the insuance they gave us all these years!!

Plus 21 million people qualified for Medicaid under the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, probably including a lot of MAGAs.

There's something like 35 to 40 million people who acquired health insurance through Obama, including the Obamacare Medicaid expansion.

There have to be millions of MAGAs at this point who have Obama insurance, while they complain about Obamacare on the internet.

It was never not pie in the sky. He not only never released a plan, no work on a plan was ever started. It was bullshit to please voters, and he repeated it as the months went by because he knew 1) people wanted it and 2) he could falsely promise it forever and his voters would continue to believe him.
