jan 15 2023 Even some kin of Coretta Scott King hate the new $10 million sculpture just dedicated to her and her iconic civil-rights-leader husband in Boston — with a cousin claiming it “looks like a penis.”

The massive bronze piece, titled “The Embrace,” features two sets of arms holding each other, an artistic interpretation of the classic photo of Coretta and hubby Martin Luther King Jr. hugging after he won the Nobel Peace Price in 1964.

“The mainstream media … was reporting on it like it was all beautiful, ’cause they were told they had to say that,” Seneca Scott, Coretta’s cousin, told The Post by phone Sunday, referring to the new artwork in The Boston Commons.

“But then when it came out, a little boy pointed out — ‘That’s a penis!’ and everyone was like, ‘Yo, that’s a big old dong, man,” said the 43-year-old Oakland, Calif., resident.

“If you had showed that statute to anyone in the ’hood, they’d have been like, ‘No, absolutely not.’ “

Dr. King received his doctorate from prestigious university right here in Boston.
For an obvious idiot like yourself to call him illiterate is perfectly OK.
Idiots who can speak have no choice but to speak like idiots.

Whether or not they should have a global forum like the internet on which to do it is another discussion.

That said, I also think that the sculpture, as a piece of alleged art, is shit.
Further, they put the ugly fucking thing in MY town's Public Common.
What are the odds of my dog not pissing on it?

I'm judging art, here. I marched with Dr. King and regard him as a significant American patriot.
It's the sculpture that truly reeks in my subjective opinion.

It is incomprehensible...it sucks objectively.
 
This is a great place to point out that the WOKE cant stand MLK....this might just suck on purpose.

Also MLK Day might very well be the next holiday to be cancelled.

I saw the sculptor interviewed on TV, and he sounded a few fries short of a happy meal as they used to say.
But when I saw the monstrosity itself, I couldn't believe my eyes.
I've got to get downtown to see if it looks as ridiculous in person as it does on television.
 
This is a great place to mention that it is not just Hollywood....all of art is increasingly crap as America and the West dies.
 
King took the GRE test back around 1950 when it was graded like the SAT - 200 to 800. He got 350 on the verbal and 270 on the math. INSANELY LOW SCORES

King was a certified moron and it is crazy he gets a national day while brilliant and productive men like edison and henry ford and john browning do not.

I marched with King in Detroit. There were marches in many American cities. My problem was I do not respect religious leaders. They are bleeding the people for the institutions. They build huge churches off the sweat and blood of the people at mass. I was about 6 feet from him and he was not all that famous back then and I was surprised by his personal protection corps. I figured he had to be important. He turned out to be pretty damn smart , gave excellent speeches, and was a lot more than just a religious leader. He saw many of the ills in America and wanted to help fix them.
