Navy vet released by Russia

The most important part is give yourself a chance!
When young ,I was very shy about asking women out!
Hell twice I had girls ask me out and was to shy to say yes.

I was never shy about asking women out. When on the rare occasion I was "Shot Down In Flames," I just moved on to another. Lots of "fish in the sea,' as they say.

In my younger days, I almost always said yes when a woman asked me out. Every one you turn down is one you'll never have the opportunity with again.

No. But it's "the thrill of the chase" in the animal kingdom too. Just beware of the Black Widow...
The animal kingdom has females choosing the biggest, strongest male. I'm not ready to be sent out to pasture.

That is true, in most cases. I won't be sent out to pasture any time soon, either.

But think about it, a bull in the pasture is a lucky bull...

I try to explain that us old guys have a lot to offer but women go with the younger bull anyway.

...but then, humans are a strange species. Look at the weak liberal men here

That was shot by a liberal camera when it could've been an entire winter of meat. Once they turn sideways like that, they're food.

Possibly just before a conservative pulled the trigger.

BTW, Elk is awesome! It makes for a whole winter's food stash, and great jerky.

I was almost killed by a mule deer. I was gone for a week at work and when I got home my horse wouldn't come to my call so I had to go look for him on 150 acers. When I got back I spooked the biggest rack mule deer drinking at the trough. He decided to let me live.

Years ago, I shot a spike buck about 80 yd. away, the bullet took out part of the heart. That deer looked at me and charged straight at me, I put a second bullet through it's neck to drop it 20 yd. from me.

Hunting and ocean fishing is not a game. One can easily be hurt or killed by the "prey".

Few people realize a deer can (and will) charge a person. It's not just a bear, or ...
Look at how many people walk up on a deer after they hit it with their car and end up in the hospital from one kick.

They have the force of a mule, with a smaller hoof.

But back on topic, I'm glad that American Navy vet was released (unless his crime injured another person without good reason).
