This is the USA, it is very difficult to prosecute a case where a gun bought by one person ended up in the hands of another, even in bizarre circumstances.

In most countries, you buy a gun legally, and it ends up at a crime scene, you have to explain how it is not your fault, or go to prison. In America, you can just say it was stolen, and you chose not to report it. In most countries, not reporting a stolen gun is a crime in and of itself.

More than half of all new guns "disappear." We all know they are sold to criminals, but the laws do not allow prosecution.

The one good thing about being not just in America, but in a red state in America is the emergency rooms really know how to handle a gunshot case. We have the most lives saved by medical intervention of any country. Without that, we would have even worse statistics than we do now.

White children kill people all the time, and their parents do not even get a class 1 misdemeanor... They just get a "try not to do it again." The American legal system is a joke, and we all know it. Republicans have destroyed it.
