NASA developed the ability to launch hundreds of satellites per week, but Congress refused to fund it. It was given to SpaceX, and now SpaceX has thousands of satellites, about half of the active satellites.

The reality is killing satellites only works if there are a small number of big ones. That is no longer the reality.

It is interesting that currently the truth is getting out that the people in the province of Taiwan have no intention of preventing a CCP military attack.....the idea that they would take up arms to prevent that is just for show.
 
I would not be the least bit shocked to find out that the CCP is getting all of the Taiwan made advanced chips they want.
 
Western leaders saying that in the event of any problems the first thing America should do is destroy all of the chip factories you can be sure has made an impression on the Taiwanese...this is exactly like America blowing up Nord Stream.
 
The truth of the matter is that there is no upside to defying the CCP past putting up a good show....the Han despise the weak but they also punish those who go out of their way to make things difficult.

It sounded more believable when you were saying that about Ukraine. And you were wrong about Ukraine. The Ukrainians were willing to fight for their independence.

The Taiwanese are even more willing. Almost no Taiwanese were alive during the four years 74 years ago, that Taiwan was part of China. Almost all of them consider themselves Taiwanese. They have built good lives for themselves, and are not willing to throw that away.

You clearly do not know how chip fabrication facilities work. If they lose power for half an hour, they are pretty much useless.

The Han are 95% of the population of Taiwan, but only 91% of the population of Mainland China.
