jan 7 2023 A high school student collapsed and died suddenly during a flag football game in Nevada after suffering from chest problems.

Ashari Hughes experienced a "medical emergency" during her flag football game at Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas on Thursday. In the middle of the game, the 16-year-old girl went to the sidelines to take a break after experiencing chest issues, according to a family member. Ashari then suddenly collapsed.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that registered nurse Aphelia Phifer-Hill allegedly ran onto the field to administer CPR on Hughes.

"Today was the first time ever, in my 26 years of nursing that I had to do CPR on a kid," Phifer-Hill wrote on Facebook.

A study from 2016 before Covid even existed found that young people exercising had a risk of heart problems and deaths were occurring.

Do you evidence that the rate of deaths has increased since 2016?

After screening, there were 23 deaths from any cause, of which 8 (35%) were sudden deaths attributed to cardiac disease. Cardiomyopathy accounted for 7 of 8 sudden cardiac deaths (88%)

Let's see a comparison to these deaths and sports-related deaths in other countries. Eighty-nine percent of Brazilians are full or partially-vaxxed. How many Brazilian athletes dropped dead on the playing fields?
