There's a thing called the First Amendment. Just because YOU don't like what's being said is no reason to tell someone they can't say it. Yes, the radical Right there were assholes, but they have that right in America, whether YOU like it or not.

As for the car incident. Remember, the radical Left showed up in greater numbers, didn't have a permit to protest, and were holding an illegal protest at the time. Had they not been there doing criminal acts, it wouldn't have happened at all.
