In that link is a list of stuff that is "reported" to be in the rules that got McCarthy over the line.

If this holds, sounds like they made a pretty good dent.

The time is finally here for accountability for the far left Democratic Socialists.

Investigations, multiple impeachments.

It's all good.

So?

The money is allocated.

They cannot take it back

All appropriations committees require at a minimum notification of reprogramming, either in statute or as instruction in committee report, hearings, or some other informal guidance. Most agencies are also required to receive committee approval for reprogramming above a specified threshold.

Reprogramming is the shifting of funds within an appropriations account "to use them for purposes other than those contemplated at the time of appropriation; it is the shifting of funds from one object class to another within an appropriation or from one program activity to another."27 Unlike transfers, reprogramming ...Jun 6, 2013

Transfer and Reprogramming of Appropriations - Every CRS Report

Enacted appropriations and other budgetary legislation may vary in the level of detail they provide regarding how agencies should spend the funds that have been provided. Even when the purpose of appropriations is specified in great detail, agencies may be provided with some flexibility to make budgetary adjustments throughout the fiscal year. These adjustments may be necessary due to changing or unforeseen circumstances. In some instances, agencies are provided with transfer authority (i.e., authority to shift funds from one appropriations or fund account to another). In addition, agencies are generally permitted to shift funds from one purpose to another within an appropriations account. This practice, usually referred to as “reprogramming,” is subject to statutorily imposed limitations.

Horse mierda.

Republicans tried it once before...and it didn't end well

[h=1]Supreme Court tells U.S. government to pay insurers $12 billion under Obamacare[/h]
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The federal government must “honor its obligations” and pay private insurers $12 billion owed to them under an Obamacare provision aimed at encouraging them to offer medical coverage to uninsured Americans, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Monday.

The 8-1 ruling authored by liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor paves the way for a significant one-time cash infusion for major companies such as Humana Inc, Anthem Inc and Centene Corp. The justices reversed a lower court’s ruling that Congress had suspended the government’s obligation to make such payments under the Affordable Care Act, widely known as Obamacare.

The one member to act to remove the speaker may be a problem. I foresee the Democrats using that to delay votes. The rest of them are good.

The standing rules come this week, McCarthy, who is basically powerless, has to kiss Gaetz's ass while finding a way to appease the moderates, and yes, there are moderates still left, four cross over and whatever purposed is done

Not really, three quarters of the "bills to be put up for a vote" are just rhetoric, and the debt ceiling thing alone will crash the US economy.

What you are missing in all your giddiness, over what was an embarrassment at a best, is that this aids Biden for 2024. America has already seen the dysfunctionality of the GOP House, they have set their theme for America to see, and for the next two years, Biden will campaign on partisanship highlighting his success of the last two years, while using the overt partisanship of the GOP House as his foil, just as Clinton did in 1996 and Obama in 2012

Some of the items in the list above are not included (that I could find) in the PDF.

I saw nothing about term limits (except for the Ethics Committee) and Congress cannot limit terms for members.

Nothing about debt ceiling.

Some items are simply resolutions and not bills.

We already have a law prohibiting federal funding of abortions.
