Democrats lock up Jan6 Capitol riot evidence for 50 years!!!

Smart move.....the incoming House GOP have stated an anti-Biden, anti-Obama laws agenda...and they have made it clear that they DO NOT want any further Jan. 6th investigations.

By locking away what information has yet to be publicly released, the Dems control the narrative and the information....and THAT burns MAGA butts to no end.

Nice move, Dems. If the GOP is so hot and horny to make information public, then let's see those JFK files and records Ronnie Raygun sealed away. Fair is fair! :awesome:

What did I say that would meet the threshold on the characterization of "wild?" What did I say that was an ad hom?

I'm encouraging you to watch more of the footage from that day.

You keep calling it an "armed insurrection." That's wildly inaccurate. Your post #52 is an example of ad hominem (with an insult tossed in).

Okay, I'll cede where she was shot. But you can't explain why Byrd failed to follow his training, failed to follow federal use of force guidelines, and most egregious of all, fled the scene after he shot her.

Tell me how many other police officers, on any force, would be off the hook for shooting someone dead then walking away as if it didn't happen. Well?

At some point, you should watch the footage of what happened that day.
Excellent suggestion.

Where exactly did Byrd flee to? Did he think the threat was over?

Put yourself in the shoes of those who were fighting off the terrorist mob. Outnumbered 58-1.

In all the chaos, in the midst of the screams of pain from the one officer who was getting crushed in the door, suddenly someone breaches the last barrier between hundreds of legislators and said mob.

What protocols do you believe would have gotten a better result?

Any suggestions for Babbitt on that topic?

You kidding, that is the last thing the MAGA militia and the GOP would want, all they have on the likes of Medows, Jordan, and other Trump ass kissers would be exposed for public review

idiot child, if that were true the demmycrats would have released it faster than they did the tax returns......

Maybe you should read through the 532 pages of documents Judicial Watch forced the Capitol police to turn over through a FOIA request that went to court. The previously kept secret documents were handed over after the government lost their case to keep them hidden.

https://www.judicialwatch.org/babbitt-shooting-documents-uncovered/

The officers interviewed said almost to a man no verbal commands were given before Babbitt was shot. After shooting her, they stated Byrd ordered them to retreat to "the subway."

As far as your fantasy scenario goes, that's just a psychologist's fallacy in the form of a strawman. Neither you nor I can get inside Byrd's head. The scenario you paint about what was happening is fantasy to embellish things to get a particular result (psychologist's fallacy). The whole thing is a strawman since it doesn't argue actual facts but instead tries to redirect the discussion into a "what if?"

Once the dog was put down, the other terrorists ceased and decisted at that entry point.

Strawman indeed.

Hmm...did we read different testimony from your link?

Sergeant [redacted] walked out of the House Chamber, into the Speaker’s Lobby and observed glass being broken out of the doors and windows at the east end of this area. He observed that an officer and Lieutenant Byrd had taken up positions and had their guns out. Sergeant [redacted] took his gun out and positioned himself behind a pillar in the Speaker’s Lobby.
A glass panel came completely out of one of the windows and a protester started to come through the opening. There was a lot of screaming and Sergeant—heard someone yelling, “get back, get back.”

Someone doesn't count. It's Byrd's actions that count and he did nothing to try and use less than lethal force as required by the federal use of force guidelines.
The dog was told numerous times to get back. This, after the rest of the terrorists were repeatedly told to leave the area.

Plenty of warnings, but the only thing that worked was when the rabid dog was put down.

Nothing to see here. Now stop lying about what was, and wasn't said.
