Wow, you say McCarthy is a "swamp rat", what sort of terrible party would vote for such a horrible person? Seriously, if you say McCarthy is that bad, you could never support a party that voted for him to be their highest elected leader.
Remember when Republicans would at least lie and claim to support the military. Gingrich demanded billions be spent on heavy tracked vehicles that would fight on the northern plains of Germany, even after we realized that we needed wheeled vehicles like the Stryker. His support for the military was all theater, but his support for his campaign donors was very real.

In the last Congress, the six of them had 15 committee assignments among them, amounting to 2.5 memberships per Squad member.
To put that into reference, Greene has zero committee assignments. "Madison" Cawthorn had two committee assignments, but they were unimportant, and he often missed votes. Gaetz had two committee assignments.
It is expected that newer Congress members would have one or two. The Squad has been advanced quickly, and have proven the trust put in them by Pelosi was well advised.
The Republican Crazies Caucus usually delegates their votes to others, because they refuse to put in the work.

McCarthy has promised to hand over to others the power to pick committee assignments without any say from him. He has surrendered any authority he had.
Pelosi was able to keep authority, and still compromise. I assume Jeffries will do the same, because he seems very competent, but time will tell.
Pelosi is a war monger, inside trader, who needs to be prosecuted for her crimes. Name one thing she did to help the people in her 37 years of selling America to the war machine.
