Idiot americans donate $6 M to gofundme act for MILLIONAIRE injured footballer.

If someone died or had an incident like that in a standard corporate office - people there would absolutely be sent home.

Your reaction to this is almost incomprehensible to me. No, they're not "5 year old girls." They are human beings, who have compassion and empathy.

We need more of that, btw. I was also kind of stunned when you celebrated the idea of an innocent American being forced into hard labor under a tyrannical regime.
Wrong. It has occurred in corporations and the rest of the employees were not sent home. They will not take that kind of hit financially.

Any job in America, someone gets sick or dies, the process continues. No one gets sent home.

Except for candy-assed millionaires wearing football uniforms.

This is the most ridiculous display of weakness and stupidity ever.

It's neither of those things.

I'm so glad that millions of Americans do not think as you do.

Football players know that it could be them in the hospital. 10 football players a year at all levels suffer from that heart problem. In Detroit, Mike Utley wrecked his spine playing pro ball and has been in a wheelchair for decades. Chuck Hughes died on the field from a heart attack at age 28. Countless football players suffer brain damaging collisions. Many will suffer badly as they age.
Many football players do not permit their sons to play the game.

Yet they never stop a game, let alone a playoff determining game, for something like this. They may as well cancel the Super Bowl because the result will be skewed.

Police officers, electricians, construction workers sustain injuries and death on their jobs every day and the entire workforce is not sent home indefinitely. And their jobs are more important than a bullshit football player's.

This is moronic on a new level.

Lots of people do, they just don't voice it. You're delusional if you think everyone thinks this is normal.

I refuse to bend to this moronic garbage.

"Traumatized" What a joke.

I know there are a lot of cold, unempathetic people in the country. But this incident proved that there are millions who have a heart, and have compassion. It was awesome to see, and gave me some hope for the future.

I feel kind of bad that you can't see that, but it is what it is. I'm not going to change your mind.

You're just wrong on that. If someone died in a normal workplace, everyone would go home, at least for the day.

The same scenario has happened in the corporate world. And no one was sent home.

In addition, more important service roles such as police officers, firefighters, soldiers, electricians, construction workers, all types of workers are injured and killed and the force doesn't go home.

These candy-assed millionaires do not deserve better.

"Traumatized"

lmfao

Good luck with that. There are millions who think the same as I do but do not voice it. Guar-on-teed.

Who said they were traumatized?

The players on the field were all pretty emotional. For the Bills players, it's like their family. For all of the players, they had to deal with watching one of their colleagues die right in front of them.

I'm amazed that anyone thinks that is "weak." Being human is all about that kind of reaction, in that circumstance. It doesn't matter how much money they make.

Hey Shit-for-brains!

This is money that goes straight to his charity for OTHERS that he has in his name!

It doesn't go to him in any way!

Sent home indefinitely? That is a high bar. When someone dies on the job, workers do go home. They come back.

I saw a program saying Hamlin established that charity before he turned pro. he seems to care about and wanted to help people. He was establishing scholarships too.

It's a dumb sport and should not be taught in schools. Basketball is probably the best game . Wonderful exercise and little chance of serious injury.
