Every Democrat in the House should get together with as many moderate Republicans as they can find who are sick of this embarrassing clown show, and agree to vote for Liz Cheney as Speaker.

Just watching the heads of Whorin' Lauren Boobert, Marjorie Trailer Greene, Matt Gaetz and the rest of those psychos explode in rage would be possibly the most entertaining thing I've ever seen.

I'm onboard with that. I don't think she would accept it though.
 
Cheney is a far righty. She is near the bottom in progressiveness. She voted with Trump about 90 percent of the time. I am happy she is out of politics. The Cheney money will keep her afloat in style forever.

Not plausible, IMO. She's hated by both parties: The Republicans for her "being mean" to the king and the Democrats for her prior wing nut behavior. So, not a chance.

I wouldn't say not a chance.

Not very likely for a variety of reasons, but I don't think petty resentment on the part of the Dems is one of them.

She proved to the world that she's capable of non-partisanship when it comes to upholding the Constitution.

I honestly don't see how they could resist at least attempting to make the possibility of jamming a stick in the eye of the nutjob Trumpers in the House a reality.

There might be enough moderates who are so embarrassed by this nonsense that they might get the support up to the requisite number of 218 votes.

How many of the MAGA/freedom caucus voted not to certify the 2020 presidential election? 150? I don't think they're happy about Cheney exposing their little plot. Maybe if enough Democrats come around, but she's pretty conservative.
