Gas up to 4.69 in my area today

At that point, we're pretty much fucked, and the Glorius People's Army of the Democratic Republic of America will frog march the angry oilfield workers back to the wells to pump oil for the people's petroleum refinery #25. They'll work for about $50 bucks a month. But at least no one will be making a profit.

The only way we would get fucked like that is if the oil companies did what you want them to do and increase production.

And BTW - about 80,000 more people work in wind and solar than oil and natural gas.

Please explain in your own words how EXACTLY Biden is responsible for prices at the pump. We'll wait.

I gotcha covered, dipshit. EO 13990, implemented on day 1 of Biden's administration.

https://www.energy.gov/sites/defaul...cting-public-health-environment-restoring.pdf

Read it and learn something, fucktard. If you need the relevant points highlighted, I made a post about it yesterday and will help you out if your reading comprehension is sub-par.

In my own words? He got in there and fucked up everything possible like a monkey, with no regard as to if it was good for Americans or not.

The most relevant section is 7. ;)

How would you then justify the dramatic decline in oil prices that we have seen?

Biden abandoned the tenets of that EO after the US ran out of oil and he went begging to the Saudis and Iran and got nothing but humiliation. That's my theory.

There was no "ransomware attack" at eastern seaboard fuel terminals. THAT was a cover story. The US ran out of oil that day.

Serious critical mass stuff.

Another pathetic excuse, handjob. We have a massive economy, there is almost nothing a President or Congress can do that would have that kind of an effect in less than 1 year. If you were a guy, I would say you were just jerking off.

The motherfucker had us run out of gas within a year with his policies, fucktard. Did you not notice the highest fuel prices ever, idiot?!

You're a Mental Munchkin.

Once covid began to ebb, there was a massive pent up demand for gasoline products, hence inflation. We have never come anywhere close to running out of gas.

I already knew you're only about 1/2 notch smarter than katzgar. Hey dipshit: That day they claimed a major gas terminal got shut down because of a ludicrous "ransomware" attack? The US ran out of gas that day, and they've been

scrambling to compensate ever since. The US ran out of fuel due to Joe Biden policies. The media covered that up; But that's what happened. It was inevitable.

What percentage are the Strategic Reserves at? Do you know? Ofc you don't. You're a fucking stupid lemming. Useful idiot.

The strategic reserve is being replenished at a lower average price, we are coming out ahead. However what does that reserve have to do with gas prices.

Biden is draining it to keep gas prices down, moron. Holy fuck you're stupid! :palm:

He has almost completely depleted it.

"We are refilling the strategic reserves at $70-75 a barrel, Trump wanted to refill them at $24 a barrel during COVID and the Democrats voted against it. "

And the potato marches on. Towards a cliff, and you're following him.

I don't necessarily want them to increase production. I want them to REGULATE production (just like every other manufacturing concern**) so I can fuel my vehicles at reasonable prices, and they can make a profit. (I know! Such a bourgeoise concept). And I want the government to keep their noses out of this PRIVATE business to the greatest extent possible.

And BTW - about 80,000 more people work in wind and solar than oil and natural gas.

I'm not surprised after pResident tater head wreaked havoc on the fossil fuel industry his first day in office.

**And choke on this if you hate people making a profit: https://www.reuters.com/technology/...4-plus-due-weak-demand-trendforce-2022-10-25/

Well that is just really sad. It takes 80,000 more people to produce a total of 12% or the nation's electricity and oil and gas produces 38.9% of electricity is produced by 80,000 fewer people.

It's very simple to understand: Oil companies will only extract the exact amount of oil necessary to achieve the highest possible profits, and they do that by decreasing production in order to raise the price per barrel because oil is a global commodity traded on global markets.

That's why they never did anything like that to that extent for 100+ fucking years before Biden made restrictive fuel policies, right? Kick yourself in the ass, fucktard.

If what you claim was true, the world would Have been falling at petroleum companies' feet for over a century. It hasn't been like that. No. :nono:

You need to calm down and actually READ, because nothing there implements the pricing of oil imports and Wall St. speculation....you can thank what's going down in the Ukraine, OPEC and Wall St. for that. As for Biden....ordering examinations and halting of prior policies on domestic production/emissions, etc. did nothing to stop an ongoing trend. Observe :

Since bottoming out at $1.87 a gallon in late April 2020, gas prices have mostly been going up. The bulk of the increase came under President Donald Trump, with prices continuing to rise under Biden.

Nationally, the average price of a gallon of gas was $2.46 on Jan. 18, the final weekly tally before Biden took office. It rose to $2.80 on March 1, the latest weekly tally before the Facebook post, according to the U.S. Energy Administration. That’s an increase of 34 cents under Biden.

The prices were similar at GasBuddy.com: $2.41 on Jan. 19 and $2.77 on March 7 — an increase of 36 cents.
