Same 30-50 people but with screen names constantly changing, especially if they didn't include their handle. I learned to recognize who was who pretty quick.

If they didn't want you in their room, you'd be booted out within 2 minutes. Most secure room on AOL ever. They had tight security. 2 in there were AOL staff for real and several others had AOL staff hacked accounts.

Booted out as in your password was reset and then they log ya off, meaning whatever you went in there with is dead and not to return. I learned some stuff. Them Mac dudes knew some stuff. Always been a PC man myself.

Never hurts to learn new things. Maybe that's why they tolerated me. That and I was a juggernaut in my own rite.

Pop up in there and they're discussing stuff? Security asks "Who'r you?" Give them your handle and if they don't accept you, it's the wrong answer and everybody clams up and you're out within 2 minutes.

I was allowed to stay. These guys knew a lot about the internet and phone lines.
