Idiot americans donate $6 M to gofundme act for MILLIONAIRE injured footballer.

Matters zero to me if you "care."

The message in black and white was the goal -- and now it's there.

Mission accomplished

You two can share it :)

Your point wasn't any different that that of TDAK. But you're too fucking stupid to see it.

Explain EXACTLY how my point was the same as the OP, which said nothing other than...

"Damar Hamlin makes $900,000 a year and he's just a stupid worthless jock anyway."

You are the master of irony everytime you call anyone else stupid.

Redneck jackass.

No, you’ve missed the fact this isn’t for him, it’s for charity.

No I haven't.

If you actually read what I said, it's very clear.

My point was that...

1) there are better and more worthwhile charities to send money to, rather than sending it to a toy purchasing charity where the money is going end up in the coffers of some corporate retail enterprise and the toys will end up in the landfill anyway,

And...

2) the main motivating factor here is celebrity obsession fueled by the fact that Hamlin is a "special" celebrity sports figure who's being fawned over non-stop by the equally celebrity obsessed media.

I suggest you educate yourself about the young man.

Why?

Because he's a precious celebrity sports figure whose charity work is being gushed about all over the media because he's black and the number one mission and goal of the phony-baloney media is to paint black people in a positive light every chance they get?

I'll pass, thanks.

I guess those who donated see it as a worthy cause, who are you to judge it’s not worthy. How do you know they won’t give to those other charities. You ASSume much and know very little.

This is an OPINION forum.

I expressed my OPINION.

Who are YOU to judge that it's improper for me to do so?

How do you know they won’t give to those other charities.

Well, you're the one who has been hammering about how the donations are all going to a children's toy fund.

Now you're asking me how I know they won’t give some of the donated money to other charities?

Well.... because YOU TOLD ME SO!!!!

You ASSume much and know very little.

Right back-atcha there little missy.

And might I just add, the self-righteous, easily offended, reactionary tone you've taken over this issue is typical of extreme left, woke liberals and one of the main reasons why you all engender the hatred of the right.

And more and more often these days, the reasonable, common sense center as well.

If he had been white, you wouldn't be offended one iota by anyone questioning the donations.

It's only because he's black that you feel he needs to be worshipped and protected via your enlightened, white progressive superiority.

Racism, in other words.

Wow.

I agree. Also, it's ludicrous the game was stopped because a bunch of millionaire ballplayers were "traumatized." Are they now "identifying" as 5 year old little girls?

People have dropped dead at places of employment and other employees aren't dismissed home indefinitely. They suck it up and work the rest of the day. Soldiers see their friends killed in action and aren't packed up and sent home.

Play the damn game already. Absolutely ridiculous and moronic. I'm sick of it too, Nomad.

If someone died or had an incident like that in a standard corporate office - people there would absolutely be sent home.

Your reaction to this is almost incomprehensible to me. No, they're not "5 year old girls." They are human beings, who have compassion and empathy.

We need more of that, btw. I was also kind of stunned when you celebrated the idea of an innocent American being forced into hard labor under a tyrannical regime.

We've gotten to a bad & weird place when expressing concern for someone who has been injured is now "virtue signaling."

I'm sick of it. This world has gotten so cold, and it will doom us as a species if we don't right the ship. The reaction to what happened here is the best of humanity - and who we need to be if we want to survive in the long term. We have that in us. We need to chase that, and aspire to be like that always - not just in a crisis.

OK. Now you've said it. To paraphrase A recent post, "I don't care."
She’s getting all excited about something that has not yet been decided.

My prediction is the game will be played at a later date.

Great news Drs are reporting Damar Hamlin has shown “substantial improvement”

“demonstrating good neurological improvement”

I am an optimist, I still feel there is more good in the world than evil.
