Idiot americans donate $6 M to gofundme act for MILLIONAIRE injured footballer.

Around the same time that happened, an airline employee at an airport in Alabama got sucked into a huge jet engine and ground up into mushy pulp.

Around here a few weeks ago, a pretty young girl who worked for a fireworks company was horribly burned over 60% of her body when an ignition sparked a huge fire that killed a few of her coworkers.

Barely a fraction of the mention of either one on the news as the celebrity pro football player has gotten.

I wonder if a Go Fuck Me account has been set up for them.

I wonder what fraction of donations to the celebrity pro football player they have had.

I just feel our society has taken celebrity worship and adoration to what I think are unhealthy levels.
100%.

The generosity of the American public will allow Hamlin and his family to most likely set up a foundation to help children. This is a good thing.

And when is game going to be played FFS?

Or is the league going to give them both "wins" to make everybody "feel good?"

Stupidest shit I have ever seen.

Won't effect me one bit but it will fuck up the end result of the games.

Because a bunch of grown muscle bound millionaires were "traumatized."

Absolutely MORONIC.

You must have never been on a team. That is sad.
I've been on plenty of teams. Life happens and regular people have no choice but to move on.

No one else in this world has the luxury of being dismissed to home because they are "traumatized."

NFL games are not suspended indefinitely because of one player.

Now the Super Bowl result will now be tainted because of a bunch of virtue signaling bullshit. I am right about this, I just one of the only ones brave enough to say it.

That is sad.

OK. Now you've said it. To paraphrase A recent post, "I don't care."
