Don't disparage day old dog shit.

This kind of contact heart trauma is more common in hockey, but although extremely rare, it can happen with any sudden violent contact, even to a very healthy heart.
I think, and I certainly hope, that the kid will be ok upon awakening from the medically induced coma. He's breathing on his own according to what I last heard.

The real tragedy is that the kid could possibly be one of so many that's unlikely to find a comfortable standard of living outside of sports. I hope not.

As for the stupid volsrock comment, that's the intelligence level with which we have to deal in this struggling country.

That game would never have resumed...the NFL "decision" was just a formality...The decision was made by the two teams...They will not continue the game this week...but there will be discussion about how to proceed eventually...I've never seen in the entire NFL come together like this to be honest...it's very unfortunate that it took this tragedy for that to happen...but it is what it is...watch history continue to take place... I never thought I'd be happy to see an entire team kneeling on the field...but in this case, it was truly warranted...

We dont agree except that expecting that the game would be finished in Jan 2023 is idiotic. You like it, I say it is proof of Americas decline.
 
I was a couple of years ago reading a military expert who was wondering if the Chinese plans revolve around sinking 2-3 aircraft carriers in the first week if war ever broke out between us. The theory revolves around America no longer having the intestinal fortitude to carry on in the face of adversity, we would give up instantly in the face of something like 10,000 Navy dead in the first week.

Something to consider as you cheer the failure to get the job done here.
 
The game should be cancelled,
the ticket costs should be refunded,
the won-lost percentage of the two teams should be based on the number of games that they actually played,
and if that impacts the playoff seeding, who gives a flying fat fuck?

Had the vaccine become available before Trump left office, they would have all submitted to it.

But, Because they were so disgruntled over losing the election, and because Biden encouraged everyone to go and get it- They rebelled and crafted one Conspiracy Theory after another to create chaos and Bad Will- for the sake of Chaos and Bad Will!

I never saw people risk their own lives, as well as others, just to play politics and try to own the Democrats out of just sheer Butthurtedness!

A doctor said about 10 players drop from that every year in all levels of football. Every one of them had a polio vaccine, so it is the cause.

If this is COVID fake vaccine jab related then we will see more of this in future. Will we decide the accomplish the mission and get the game played? I tend to doubt it.
 
I get the heart stoppage, what I DONT get is why they had to intubate.

And why the US Govt is setting up a short distance away form UCMC in case he doesn't survive.

Have not seen any reports on whether there is any brain activity.

I just dont have a good feeling as to how this turns out. Would really love to be wrong.

Letting him lay on the field rather than getting him to appropriate care certainly did not help.

Politics has nothing to do with it.

It is a personal choice based on a legitimate rationale. This is not one size fits all. I get to decide what is injected in my veins, not you or Biden. For me, it is the right choice.

They restarted his heart but he was not breathing on his own. That's not a good sign in regards to brain activity. I don't see this ending well but miracles can happen.

He was on the ground a LONG time but if they were trying to get his pulmonary going that was a mistake. As soon as they defibbed him they should have packed him up and scooted along.
