Due to the economic agenda of “socialism,” Marcus told the Financial Times, “Nobody works. Nobody gives a damn. ‘Just give it to me. Send me money. I don’t want to work — I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid.’”


I tend to agree for the most part.

Lots of problems across the country trying to get people hired. You would think that there would be very few people on entitlements with so many unfilled jobs out there. IMO they should be made to turn in a weekly AUTHENTICATED work search just as those collecting unemployment benefits have to do every week. No work search=no benefits.
 
In Wisconsin those work searches are actually authenticated weekly to prevent fraud. That is a good thing IMO.
 
My dark side thinks this is a good thing in some ways. Removes all the slop from the trough and gives the actual go getters a much clearer path to success. Hey,.....if people want to actually willingly make themselves slaves to the Government handout for such a paltry little bit of table scrap,...then go ahead. It gets them out of the way and allows people with higher goals to have an easier time of it. While the others are living in section 8 shit holes and counting their foodstamps :laugh: those willing to put in the work will move up fast.

Yep. Let them live in drug infested rat holes on section 8 on food stamps if they dont want to work. Keeps them basically OUT of decent society. Living free has its PRICE...;) :laugh:
 
Right now,...basically ANYBODY can get a "starter" job if they want one. I live in a semi small town and lemme tell ya,...the freaks that these fast food joints are forced to hire are unbelievable. People that NEVER would have been hired even 10 years ago are now being hired because its them or nobody. And those places STILL cant find enuff people to be open to all shifts like they used to be.

Im not complaining really. I just think its disgusting. Man,...talk about low hanging fruit...LOL We now have people so lame that they actually ASPIRE to the section 8 housing and 200 dollar a month food card life ! Thats like their WINNING LOTTERY TICKET!!! :laugh: Holy balls,...talk about having low expectations!

A lot of people apparently. If their are plenty of jobs available and people with no income or money are choosing not to take them then THEY are the ones who are choosing that life. I know its crazy,...somebody should tell them!

Who are "they"? Obviously the able-bodied can not still have welfare after 1 or 2 years, depending on the state.
 
Right now in rural Wisconsin there are jobs everywhere where a kid who knows absolutely nothing can be hired on to learn the carpentry trade at a starting rate of 27-30 dollars an hour. Guess what? Companies cant fill the positions. Yeah,... its crazy.
