When she saw Capitol police officers being beaten and attacked, when she saw a violent mob of Republican terrorists threatening to hang Mike Pence while overrunning police defensive lines, she should have known perfectly well the police could act with lethal force.

Using lethal force to defend the Vice President and U.S. senators is fully justified as every investigation of this incident has concluded.
