What type of evidence do you need? He was elected in 2016 and not audited till Congress requested his tax returns and that was in 2019.

“Under longstanding IRS policy, both the president and vice president are subject to automatic tax audits every year. Did you read the article? That’s going to be part of the inquiry, why the Trump appointed guy at the IRS didn’t audit Trump till 2019. Was he told not to or did he decide not to himself.

You can pretend a Republican House wouldn’t investigate a Democrat, but I know better.

Then that's the IRS's job. Not congresses. And if you care to look, making private tax returns public wasn't brought up until 2017. One year after Trump was elected. Coincidence?

Part of the reason tax breaks are given to companies is that they bring employment to areas which then generate more taxes and economic activity.

I havent gone thru the taxes yet but if they are all legal and according to our laws then I have no problem with him paying no taxes.

They did not audit him as required -- per their own regulations -- for the first two years of his presidency. If you will recall, he had an (R) House and Senate then, plus HE controlled who headed up the IRS. All presidents have been audited while president for years per IRS regulations, regardless of party. This is to ensure that they are not accepting graft, bribes, foreign income, etc. IOW, it's to keep them honest.

Why wasn't Trump audited then, hmm?
