President Trump Rips Democrats and Supreme Court Following Release of his Tax Returns

So now does any Congressional investigating Committee pursue anything? What legislative purpose does the upcoming House have in going after Hunter Biden, especially since they aren’t even in office yet? Does that mean Jimmy Jordan is full of it when he pretentiously swears America has a right to know?

Besides, Trump’s own SCOTUS didn’t see it that way

It wouldn't be Bagman they're interested in, but Joke himself, and that has a legitimate legislative purpose in ensuring the executive branch is following the laws as set by Congress.

As he should. Congress in getting his tax returns legally only has some legislative purpose in doing so. Releasing them virtually immediately after gaining possession is a purely political move that is illegal. Whether you love or hate Trump, you should be appalled that Democrats (or Republicans doing the same thing) did this and are likely to get away with it.

I'm not appalled at all. I'm cracking up.

Are we supposed to have a pity party for Trump or something? You start a lot of threads about honesty. He always said he'd release them himself once the big "audits" were done.

What if next time... and at some point there will be a next time... Those in Congress do it to someone you support, or to you?

All could have been ended back in 2015 if Donald did what generations of candidates did before him, release your income taxes for public review

but it didn't have to.......now the committee has violated federal law. Every one of them should be removed from office by the House......

What exactly is illegal about the release of trumps tax returns. Do be specific!

Specifically....

this is why releasing the tax returns to the public is mistake......fucking idiots who know nothing about the law say stupid things which are not true......his taxes for 2020 were paid in 2019 by a tax credt roll over......

Did you have to suck his dick to find that out?

Now that a House committee has obtained access to six years of former President Trump’s tax returns, congressional Democrats face an easy question and a harder one.

The easy question is whether, as a matter of law, the House Ways and Means Committee—which gained access to the former president’s tax filings after the Supreme Court dismissed Trump’s last-ditch bid to block the Internal Revenue Service from handing over the documents—can make Trump’s returns public before Republicans take control of the chamber on Jan. 3. The answer to that question is straightforwardly yes.

they do not fall within any exception to the felony provision of the statute....

They show he had investment in foreign nations he was making decisions about.

They show he doesn’t respect American law.

They show he’s not as wealthy as he pretends.

they show you aren't a tax lawyer, cuntselor.......please name the exception to the statute which protects the committee members from criminal prosecution.......

It's obviously legal to release them.

Further, it should be required for every single politician to not only release a full report of holdings, but tax returns. Further, it's time to get politicians out of the insider trading business, and into the legislating business.
