What piques my curiosity is if you were always like this, which means you were never a teacher, or if something tragic happened to you causing sufficient brain-damage to end your teaching career.
I doubt you're a paranoid schizo like CO/goat, but a DUI car crash without a seatbelt or airbags would do it. You and I are both old enough to remember the days when seatbelts weren't required to be worn and airbags were a luxury.
