Almost 2023….

It never fails.
Whichever party is in the WH?
That party/it's supporters will swear everything looks great...no matter what the truth is.

1) most economists are calling for a 2023 recession.
2) according to the Household Survey - which is what the unemployment rate is based on - there are 466,000 LESS Americans working now than in September.
3) the Fed intends to continue to raise rates.

1) 'Economists have been forecasting a recession for months now, and most see it starting early next year. Whether it’s deep or shallow, long or short, is up for debate, but the idea that the economy is going into a period of contraction is pretty much the consensus view among economists.'
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/12/23/why...is-coming-in-2023.html?&qsearchterm=recession

2) https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.a.htm

3) https://www.cnbc.com/2022/12/14/for...decision.html?&qsearchterm=fed to raise rates

You people can delude yourselves all you wish.
A complete collapse is not indicated.
But the economy is NOT, looking good...going into 2023.

And take a wild guess how much effort I will waste?
Reading Bidenbot posts that scream how wrong I/the consensus/the data must be?

Once again, I DESPISE, both parties.
I’m old enough to remember when they predicted a recession in 2022, that never happened.

IMO, the sane Repubilcans, which is most of them will simply stand aside and let the justice system prosecute Trump for his various crimes.

That said, while I still believe Trump will never go to jail, he will be in court for the rest of his life and TrumpCo will be destroyed.

I will believe twump "being prosecuted for his crimes" when I see it. So far, not a fucking thing.

As the previous link noted, it's coming. With people in power, it's important that prosecutors have all of their facts lined up and straight. Witnesses, especially those who have already been convicted or pled out, ready to go.

I have always honestly felt that people with money and power are treated with a very different standard legally speaking than regular Americans. If Trump is not prosecuted, it is a significant amount of evidence that I was correct. Particularly that issue is the confidential documents case General Petraeus was prosecuted for one single document.

...and Hillary got a free pass. Yes, agreed the rich and powerful, especially politicians, are treated differently. Sad.

Hillary did not get a free pass. It has been determined by several sources that she did not intentionally mishandle any classified information, nor did she break any laws.

You should read past the headline before groaning people, Phan. :)

There's also the matter that Hillary deleted evidence claiming it was all personal when, in fact, Weiner's computer proved she lied.

From your link:
Comey did, however, criticize Clinton's use of a private email server as "extremely careless."

The Justice Department's inspector general also said that FBI specialists had not found evidence that the server was hacked.

This latest report concluded there was "no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information."

Despite that, 38 unidentified people were said to be "culpable" in 91 cases after sending classified information which made its way to Clinton's personal email.

Hillary’s case was much more tenuous than Trump. It was a judgment call whether to charge her or not. What trumped it is much more comparable to what Petraeus did.

Disagreed on tenuous but readily agreed her crimes were much less than Trump's....espeically if it turns out that Trump used his thefts for personal gain...which I suspect it was.

Hillary violated the rules for two reasons: Her paranoia about records on a government computer versus her private server, and that she did it for expediency in her job as SoS. Trump, I strongly suspect, did if purely for personal gain. It wouldn't surprise me that he traded those secrets to hostile foreign leaders.

Violating “rules” is different than violating “laws”.

Hillary had no intent to be in possession of top secret information, and did not have any documents.

Let's be clear; I don't believe in absolutes when it comes to people, even US politicians.

Hillary is more guilty than the aforementioned Petraeus, yet she was handled much more gently than Petraeus...by a Democratic President...and a Democratic AG....in a close election...and Hillary owned the DNC. You are free to use "alternative facts" to dispute these facts. :)

Many top Democrats issued an audible sigh of relief when the Clintons, specifically the brains of the operation, lost the election and their dynasty collapsed.

Are Hillary's crimes worse than Trump's? NFW.

Did she deliberately violate classified material protocols? Clearly she did...or she's a complete fucking idiot like Rand Paul. Take your pick. LOL

She violated protocol, it’s not as clear that she violated laws.

If there was any chance she violated the law, she would have been prosecuted by Trump’s DOJ. It why I laugh at those stating Hillary committed crimes and got away with it. It’s asinine.

I am fairly certain she would have been found not guilty. The law, as worded, simply did not cover email attachments as it was drafted before email existed.

Let's be clear: Hillary deliberately violated the law when she knowingly passed classified material via her unsecure server.

I'm not a lawyer. You are free to claim Hillary was just a dumb blonde, not an extremely smart woman with a solid handle on her job.

"Oh damn! That was classified!" LOL

You can't be found guilty if your buddy, the Attorney General of the United States, declines to press charges.

Most parents know the "fairness rules" such as letting one child cut and the other make first pick. Another one is flipping the scenario around to see if it still fits.

If it was a Republican ex-president meeting a Republican US AG on a tarmac during an election year when the Democrats might win, how many JPP Left Wingers wouldn't be screaming "Foul!"?

Bill Clinton cornered Loretta Lynch at Sky Harbor and it wasn't just to say hello

That is absolutely true, and it was a very stupid move for Bill Clinton. It does not however affect the fact that the law did not make receiving and storing emails that are sent to you illegal.

Agreed, but results count. It worked! LOL

If the person receiving an email doesn't know the material is classified, I agree. The evidence indicates she not only knew, but willfully sent classified material via her unsecure server because, as everyone should know, she was too paranoid to use the secure government server.

Once again, was she just a dumb blonde or did she actually know what she was doing?
