Remember when we were little kids and every TV station showed NORAD tracking Santa? Always thought even when I was in grade school that they were trying to distract us from the Cold War threats of nukes. It was cute!

I lived in Colorado Springs from third grade through fifth. It was easy to see the entrance to NORAD, now apparently named "Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station".

He's both elderly and in pain. IIRC, he's a Vietnam vet which likely puts him at or over 70. I'm 66.
