My brother is receiving requests from Duke Energy not to use any unnecessary energy. I assume they mean Christmas lights. It should be apparent to even the most ardent Climate Change Advocate that if our electrical grid cannot handle weather related stress, it certainly can’t handle millions of EVs any time soon.

Does your brother live in Dixie? You have to be more specific where the electrical grid is failing. I see charging stations being installed everywhere here on the left coast. I can't imagine a future without EVs. It's where big oil wants to go.
