Republicans should move on from election lies

It's a loser, and contributed to the GOP's failure this past mid-term.

Americans are tired of it. It has become a pattern: if Republicans lose, it HAS to be because of fraud (or, in the case of Trump cultist pillow salesmen, even if DeSantis wins).

Not sure if conservatives have noticed - but the demographics in America have changed significantly. Both parties have had to, and will have to, adjust their positions and messaging accordingly.

Because THAT is how you actually win elections. By appealing to more voters. By making a stronger case than the other party. By having better candidates.

I always thought that was such a stupid thing to say regarding politics. I always thought people were people regardless of race? Or are you saying that for whatever reason Hispanics, Blacks, Asians and middle Eastern people just LOVE the chance to abort their own babies or draw government assistance ? Furthermore,...if that is in fact the case,....WHY is that exactly? Seems odd.

You think changing demographics have no influence on the political landscape?

That's certainly an interesting position to have.

The right wouldnt be the right if they suddenly were FOR increasing the amount of abortions and entitlement handouts. So you want two parties with the same views? Kind of stupid isnt it?

I like having differences in ideas or political parties. Choices are GOOD. Otherwise you end up like North Korea, The old Soviet Union, China, Cuba,..ect ect ect.......Oh wait...

You dont have to feel too ashamed about the demographics statement Bartender. Most political commentators have been doing the same for years from both sides. Problem is,....most viewers arent as sharp as myself and never discern just how insulting it is to minorities. Shameful.

It certainly wouldn't have to be that extreme. Why are you portraying it that way?

It's what parties have done throughout history. Demographics change, views change, the pulse of the country is different - it's about adjusting positions. Not becoming exactly like the other party.

Honestly, both parties need to do it. America is much more of a centrist nation, and both parties have gone to their extremes. But the point of the OP is that Republicans shouldn't complain when they refuse to move more toward the center, and continue to lose or do poorly in elections. "Fraud" is just a scapegoat for their own unwillingness to try to appeal to more of the electorate.

I'm not ashamed of it at all. It's just factual.

And like I said - there is really nothing I stated that indicated Republicans should become Democrats. It doesn't have to be a wholesale change.
