Roberts freezes end of title 42

Maybe Jarod can comment but I dont really see the legal reasoning for this. Supposedly the Supreme Court issued the injunction because it wants to hear more arguments from both sides and has asked the Biden admin to reply by tomorrow.

The thing is based on my understanding neither side has actually said they have any new arguments to present. The Supreme Court has all the relevant records of whatever arguments both sides presented at the court of appeals and they need to decide based on that one way or another. Or of course they can always refuse to take the case.

Its not the Supreme Courts place to protect the people from bad policy. Thats what elections are for. Its merely there to decide if something is legal or not.

My personal opinion is that title 42 should end as all the arguments presented by the GOP governors are based on the consequences of ending title 42 and not any concerns around its legality.

If the GOP governors need to bus tens of thousands of "asylum seekers" to New York and other cities then they should do that.

SCOTUS has been useless to date re the Revolution opening the Southern border, and I am 97% sure that they will stay useless.

The argument, really, is that ending Title 42 will cause the sudden influx of illegal immigrants.

It is clear and obvious that the Immigration process is clearly out of control, now that thousands and thousands are buffered up at the border to come to the US for protection.

The temporary things that Trump did as president should expire as normal, and Biden must go ahead now and submit new temporary policies in place until Congress can put a new immigration policy into law, that deals with this dilemma and Humanitarian Crisis.

This problem that everyone in the world seeking asylum in the US for whatever reason, is not the president's problem. This is a problem for Congress. But it is the responsibility and obligation of a sitting president to put up temporary processes until a Bill can be ready for him to sign that deals with the crisis at hand, until a new Bill can be written and ready for him to sign into law.

The Supreme Court should have stayed out of the way and advised the nation as to why!

No, the US can't just let everyone in the world seeking asylum into the US.

So, as Bill Maher says- it's time for NEW RULES!

We are already importing about 5 million humans a year between legal and illegal, which is by design to destabilize the country.

It will get worse...again by design.
