PALM BEACH, Fla. — Hundreds of guests in tuxedos of all styles — sequined, quilted, velvet — and colorful gowns sipped on Trump-branded champagne and martinis. Between courses of steak and bite-sized Key lime pie, they danced to “YMCA” and “Macho Man,” the disco anthems at Trump rallies.

Thursday night’s Log Cabin Republicans’ “Spirit of Lincoln” gala in the main ballroom of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago beachfront club was a joyous celebration of gay rights and — in a case of ironic timing — the historic same-sex marriage law signed by President Joe Biden days earlier.

Obama and Hillary both openly opposed gay marriage in 2008 .\

Trump appointed Ric Crenell the first openly gay ambassador and "Grenell was named as Acting Director of National Intelligence by President Trump in February 2020, making him the first openly gay person to serve in the Cabinet of the United States," https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Grenell

Trump tweeted: "As we celebrate LGBT Pride Month and recognize the outstanding contributions LGBT people have made to our great Nation, let us also stand in solidarity with the many LGBT people who live in dozens of countries worldwide that punish, imprison, or even execute individuals on the basis of their sexual orientation. My Administration has launched a global campaign to decriminalize homosexuality and invite all nations to join us in this effort!"

BTW I won't pay for access to the NYT they didn't even realize the laptop was Hunter's until 17 months later. They are just an arm of the DNC. So try another accurate source.

Obama was shown he was wrong and he changed position. He advocated it and fought for it. Trump does not care about gays. he cannot profit off them.
