Biden could put to rest the whole dementia issue if he would have a third party give him a standard Montreal Cognitive Assessment exam and make the results public. But he won't do it because he would score poorly. My guess below a 26.

People with early dementia can read. Biden almost always uses a teleprompter. They even made a set for him so he can look straight forward while he reads a TV size teleprompter. When he speaks without a teleprompter he usually forgets names. He even said Beau Biden served in Afghanistan. Beau was in Iraq. He even said Beau died in Iraq when he died to years later in the US. Go back and watch him 5 years ago. Today his speech is halting and he frequently loses his train of thought. He is clearly in early dementia. He needs to take a MoCA but I doubt we will ever see the results of one.

I would LOVE to see Biden and Trump take the same Cognitive test and see who would score higher. It's interesting that no MAGA morons have suggested that. They know what the results would yield.
