Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh attended a Christmas party along with a number of prominent right-wingers, such as House Representative Matt Gaetz and Stephen Miller, formerly a senior adviser to Donald Trump.

Other guests included Sean Spicer and Sebastian Gorka, who served the Trump administration as press secretary and deputy assistant to the president respectively.

Kavanaugh has served on the Supreme Court since October 6, 2018, having been appointed by President Trump.

While Supreme Court Justices aren't bound by the same rules as federal judges, they are expected to maintain high ethical standards.

We need to get off the idea that we have a Supreme governmental body. The original idea of it being called Supreme was because it was suppose to be the highest court in the land. But, now certain justices have taken it upon themselves to think they are SUPREME beings or individuals and privileged characters!

It's more of a Supremacist Court now since Trump selected the last 3 members tilting it into an EXTREMIST and ACTIVIST court!

NO Sirs! If the US is ever going to have a true check and balance system between the 3 main bodies of our government, there must be also checks on our SUPREME COURT!

No one is above the law and no one single body of government is SUPREME- or above being checked and balanced by the others!

I look for Congress's Ethics committee to rise to the occasion and PUT SOME CHECKS ON THESE RADICALS THAT SIT ON OUR SUPREME COURT!

Where did the term "Borked" come from? At some point someone realized goals could be achieved through judicial activism. The only job of the SC is to determine if a law is constitutional but thats changed hasnt it? I'm not saying both sides don't do it just that things have changed dramatically

Past judges cared about how the court looked. All people have some biases. The Supremes always tried to hide theirs, But this court was unapologetically made to be far right. They seem to think there is no reason to pretend that they are fair and neutral.
There were judges that surprised after they were seated. They ruled by the constitution and went against the party that seated them. The Federalist Society removed that possibility. They track lawyers and judges meticulously so they know how they will rule.Then ,they give the names to Repub presidents. Does anyone think Trump had a clue who he was nominating?
