I feel she was happy to take the cash, and got complacent. She should have known the very real possibility that she could get into trouble by bringing drugs into the nation.

She was actually a hero there too, as they are much more interested in women's basketball.


It has nothing to do with 'deserve'. It has to do with making choices, and paying the consequences

She's wealthy as a result of her choices.

I think the consequences she was facing, had much more to do with the fact that she is an American, than it had to do with the fact that she had some marijuana residue.

Without question. But the drums of war were banging louder and louder for months. I'm quite sure she was in touch with people in this nation, even though local propaganda would have kept that information from her. It appears that she did try to leave 2 weeks before Putin invaded.

Given that she was trying to come home, it was incredibly stupid to go to the airport with miniscule amounts of thc oil.

Yes he was a Marine, until he was dishonorably discharged for larceny, financial fraud as well as other offenses. He was Later arrested in Moscow for espionage with $80,000 cash in his pocket after going there for a friends wedding that he did not attend. Of course we say he wasn't guilty which of course we always would but that doesn't make any fucking difference, Whelans release wasn't on the table, Russia said no way, only Griner. Were we supposed to say no and leave her in some Russian gulag to rot?
