I think he's trying to argue that this was a disgruntled employee. That's very possible, but it doesn't make Musk less culpable. When you fire people enmasse you had better make sure you prevent them from blowing the place up on the way out the door. If you fail to do that, you are a fucking moron. Which appears to apply to Musk at this point.

It was someone outside the house. This is what happens when guardrails are removed. This is really going to hurt the brand. Can't say Elon doesn't deserve it. He's been acting like a child Nazi troll since he acquired it.

I think it's more likely a disgruntled ex employee. This happens all the time when layoffs happen. Most companies figure out how to make sure those employees can't damage the company. The problem is that those responsible for preventing that are the very people that Musk fired. He sucks. This isn't at all a surprise.

It's just that it's such a huge crime. Especially when personally identifiable data is involved. There are cyber tools LE has that can trace the hack. Korea or China on the other hand has nothing to be worried about!
