I can easily envision a presidential election where Biden finishes first as a Democrat,
Trump finishes second as an independent or other party candidate,
and DeSantis finishes third as the republican candidate...
but nobody reaches the required 270 electoral votes.

If that happens, the entire election is dismissed as if it never took place.
The Hiuse of Representatives chooses the president, and if it's a republican house,
third place DeSantis gets chosen as president.

That's our revered and beloved constitution at work.
2024 could be when people finally realize what a cluster fuck of a document it is.
