I personally would never blame people that had nothing to do with what happened, as I already know many Republican people who were just as shocked and upset with what they watched on TV, as any Democrat, Independent, Bernie Bot, Libertarian, or what have you!

What makes you think people are blaming YOU personally?

Usually when a candidate announces he is running for office, his family huddles around him. With trump, every adult member of his family was trying to get as far away as possible.

Just tell them that Trump's middle initial "J" stands for Jesus, all Liberals will be cast to Hell by St. Goober at the golden Gate and the truth is not always the truth, and there was never a pandemic, and that Trump never loses, and always wins everything he wants to win, and that he is incapable of committing crimes, or being indicted, or prosecuted, as he has executive privilege to break the law anytime he chooses to do so.

Jarod and Ivanka got everything they needed from dad's first term - Ivanka got her Chinese patents and Jarod got his unsecured $2 billion loan from Saudi Arabia. Was it worth being hated by half the country and being banished from NYC, the only home to two have ever known? I guess.

You would think so, but he remains as a sort of zombie. trump is the presumed nominee for 2024. There is no obvious way to prevent that.

It reminds me of when the Neo-Cons collapsed. Their entire strategy was completely disproved by reality. They failed in every way imaginable. Their ideology had no place for non-state actor in international relations, and yet Al Qaeda existed. Their think tanks went bankrupt, no one was interning with them, phones were disconnected, no one was admitting to be a Neo-Con, Republicans were desperately trying to say everyone else was a Neo-Con....

And yet they still controlled the White House and all foreign policy for years afterwards. Heck, Bush was reelected afterwards, and kept the Neo-Cons in power.

It is the same way with the alt right. They still have a huge amount of power, but they are ashamed to admit who they are.
