China coming apart

It seems that China is coming apart. Massive protests are gaining momentum across the nation, all over Covid lockdowns. Starting at the IPhone and Apple plants, it has now spread across several cities.

The government's response of locking down even harder is being met with more resistance. In some places violence has already started.

Further, people are losing faith in China's fiat currency, the Yuan. The government is trying to print it's way out of it's financial predicament, and wealth is expatriating any way it can. People there see the writing on the wall.

The peaceful days of China are quickly coming to an end.

The question before the house is: How will this affect the United States or the world?

It means every country in the world has the courage to protest their corrupt government, with the one exception being us fat, lazy, Americans.

I dont feel comfortable that I know what is driving these protests. I suspect that it is the new plan to set up Australian style quarantine camps which will require a two week stay, with the citizen paying for it. Also there is to be no transparency on who is ordered to report to one, which is done by cancelling the COVID Passport that everyone has on their phone.

Middle and upper class Americans will be the last to feel the squeeze. What we see in China, Iran, Russia, France, will eventually come home to roost in America.

The "squeeze" will be rapid and so rapid before they realize it and it would be too late.
 
I wonder how many at the protesters are smart enough to not take their phones. The Chinese surveillance state is very advanced technically, and is huge. I recently heard someone (dont remember who) say that the Chinese spend more on internal security than they do for all of their military.
 
I have read several stories in the last couple of months predicting terrible times for China. They appear to be set up for a 2008 crash. The wealthy and bankers spent heavily on real estate via loans. They are coming due. The apartments are empty and over built.
