The SCOTUS ruling wasn't "democratic." It was out of step w/ the vast majority of America. Which was a big reason the Republican Party came up so woefully short in this election.

It will probably impact elections for many years to come, favoring Democrats.

SCOTUS does not have authority to change the Constitution. Nothing in the Constitution gives the federal government authority over abortion. You don't get to speak for everyone. Omniscience fallacy.
