Twitter has two assets, both are being destroyed by Musk

I think it's more that he was seduced by the power of it all. Commanding one of the most ubiquitous social platforms makes one pretty darn powerful. He wants to play "god", except that "god" he's playing is a socially retarded attention whore troll with zero ability to manage people.

Elon thought he could run a social network like a factory. Mental assets cannot be treated like machines. Elon's finding this out the hard way. Elon's problem is similar to twumps: Musk always considers himself the smartest in the room which leads to disaster. Like the twump presidency.

That sums him up pretty well. OTOH he has amassed billions by shrewd insights and shrewd investments. My POV is that he wants to turn Twitter into his mouthpiece. He has ambitions.

I find there are two types of bosses, ones that want an ego trip, and ones that want to make money. I try to hire bosses that want to make money, because that is the whole purpose of business.

Musk is banning CUSTOMERS who make fun of him. It is his company, so he can do that, but it is a company on the edge of collapse; so is it smart?

But there is a problem, Musk has been taking workers from Tesla and using them at Twitter. Tesla is a publicly traded company, which Musk does not own completely. He is stealing from another company to help a company he owns. That is a crime.

They are on loan, for a short period, and not just from Tesla...which had to be approved by the board of those companies, who have legal authority over those companies. Now Musk has been allowed to pick boards which is a problem, but everything is legal....as you should know.

Tesla pays people to work for Tesla, not to do Musk's private jobs. He is using his position at Tesla to steal for his own private gain.
