We do need to get back to family planning...very good point...it's pretty easy to be responsible and not get into a situation where there is an "unwanted child" a part of the picture...
Everyone should be considering all that you mention...and should not be considering abortion as just another easy form of birth control...because it is not a form of birth control...
One of the goals here is to stop creating so many "unwanted children"...it's not difficult...

Hey Einstooge.... a large percentage of these pregnancies occur in TEENAGERS.

Now I'm sure it's easy for YOU to talk because when YOU were a teenager you never got laid anyway because nobody was interested in getting into your pants.

But there are others who face a great deal of peer pressure while at the same time, lacking the maturity to make wise, adult decisions.

Of course, I don't expect you or people like you to understand or empathize with these young people, or anyone else whose lives don't mirror your own.
