There is no special counsel investigating Hunter, ambulance chaser. The J/D will never assign a special counsel to investigate Hunter.
But the new Republican House will investigate Hunter and he will be under oath.

They cannot investigate Hunter, a private citizen.
Congress can investigate conduct that may be criminal.
They investigate private companies and can conduct an investigation that involves the son of the president and the president.
The House, after Jan. 1, already has plans to investigate cocaine Hunter and his ties to Slow Joe.
They can impeach Biden 1-2-10 times too.

While the power to investigate is broad, the Supreme Court has since ruled that Congress must confine itself to “legislative purposes” and avoid the strictly private affairs of individual citizens.

The Democrats have investigated Republicans in cases that had no legislative purpose, many times.
Try to keep up, ambulance chaser, one is a Special Counsel investigation and the other will be a Congressional investigation. Under oath about Hunter's illegal business practices and the influence of his father to facilitate those illegal practices.
