A strong resistance to getting directly involved in international wars, such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

In Chris Christie's new book he tells about his friendship with Trump and how their families regularly had dinner together. When Trump asked him who he thought would be his biggest Democratic rival in 2020, Christie told him Biden because he was non-threatening. Trump laughed at him.

Trump's tariffs have been a disaster. It just raises prices which have to be paid by American importers. Retaliation against our tariffs resulted in big losses by American businesses. We paid the farmers $42 billion because China retaliated against soybeans. It caused industries to move to places like Vietnam because their products are not subject to the tariffs.
