What Democrats would love in the long run is for the corrupt RNC to crush the MAGA populist movement which would then continue the status quo. -- In the short term, unless key states either change their (s)elections into elections or Republicans within those states embrace ballot harvesting techniques, those states are forever lost to Democrat control.

McConell was interviewed yesterday and said the party has too much hate -this from the minority leader.
Point being the press will dump 1/6 on him, the establishment will point to midterm election

Last night was a total mail-in. No energy in that speech. He probably would have postponed it, but I'm sure he thought that would make him look weak.
