Noted political loser Donald Trump announces plan to lose presidential race again

A twice-impeached former one-term president who helped incite an attack on the U.S. Capitol and refused to participate in America’s peaceful transfer of power announced Tuesday that he will again put his ego above all else and enter the Republican presidential primary.
The Florida man, presently the subject of a federal espionage investigation relating to the removal of classified documents from the White House, appeared at his gaudy South Florida resort where he has overcharged the Secret Service details that protect him and blathered senselessly about things that never happened while he was president.

Trump bores the masses with presidential announcement
Seemingly bored regurgitating the same pablum he has repeated over and over and over again to crowds of cult-like followers across the country, the man whose company is presently on trial in a criminal tax fraud case made a series of specious claims that America was perfect when he left office in 2020.

That is, of course,*a complete fiction that ignores the fact that when he left office like a huffy school bully angry about getting detention,*there were still thousands of Americans dying each day of a virus he had worked hard to play down and the country was reeling from a violent insurrection incited by his unwillingness to accept the results of a free and fair election.
The insurrection-inciting Trump fools no one
The almost-tragically narcissistic man who lost reelection and caused his own party to lose both chambers of Congress*went on*to say that he, as president, went “decades” without a war, a mathematical impossibility that would be embarrassing for him if it weren’t wholly drowned out about all the other embarrassing things.*

Time has come to dump Trump: Come on, Republicans. Our midterm losses are the final straw.

Flanked by an array of American flags, as if the collective surface area of them might somehow cover his own aura of autocracy, the former American president who*repeatedly expressed*deep respect for murderous Russian President Vladimir Putin*swiftly lost*the audience in his faux-opulent ballroom, babbling on about “deals” and “China” and “the largest number of votes.” He appeared less like a president and more like a bombing stand-up comedian.

I will vote against him in these primaries like I did leading up to the 2016 elections but if I'm forced to choose between trump or Brandon, there is no choice.

(Reuters) - Former President Donald Trump, who on Tuesday announced he will run again for the White House in 2024, faces a series of investigations and lawsuits.

MISSING GOVERNMENT RECORDS
The U.S. Department of Justice is conducting a criminal investigation of Trump for retaining government records, including some marked as classified, after leaving office in January 2021.
The FBI seized 11,000 documents from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida in a court-approved Aug. 8 search. About 100 documents were marked as classified, and some were designated top secret, the highest level of classification.
Trump, a Republican, has accused the Justice Department of engaging in a partisan witch hunt.
A special master, Senior U.S. District Judge Raymond Dearie, is reviewing the seized documents to determine whether any are protected by executive privilege, as Trump has claimed.
Executive privilege is a legal doctrine under which a president can keep certain documents or information secret.
The Justice Department has asked a federal appeals court to end that review and restore its access to unclassified materials taken in the search, arguing that both measures are hindering the criminal investigation.
NEW YORK ATTORNEY GENERAL CIVIL LAWSUIT
New York Attorney General Letitia James said in a civil lawsuit filed in September that her office uncovered more than 200 examples of misleading asset valuations by Trump and the Trump Organization between 2011 and 2021.

New York Post buries Trump 2024 launch: 'Florida Man Makes Announcement'

The New York Post took another jab at Donald Trump on Wednesday, burying the launch of his 2024 White House bid on page 26 of the former president’s favorite tabloid.

The Rupert Murdoch-owned newspaper derisively referred to Trump as “Florida Man” on its cover, teasing the launch — which was held at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., on Tuesday night — at the bottom of the front page with the headline: “Florida Man Makes Announcement.”

Yeah, I saw that. Trump's presidential run is going to be hilarious. Even the right wing media is turning on him.

He's sure to have epic mental meltdowns over this.

I will vote against him in these primaries like I did leading up to the 2016 elections but if I'm forced to choose between trump or Brandon, there is no choice.

Trump is a moron with fascist tendencies. Many of his own staff and cabinet members have called him a moron with the intelligence of a third grader.

He doesn't belong anywhere near the oval office.

Love listening to the TDS infected alt lefties. Thanks for the input. Remember to wake a full glass of water with your pills.

I don't vote for people, ever.

I don't vote for personalities, and I don't even vote for character because we don't really know the character of people that we don't know personally.,
and who has that much, anyway?

I vote entirely on policy positions and ideology. The politicians themselves, for the most part, aren't the issue. They're just fucking politicians.

But for right now, I'm putting all of that aside when it come to the candidacy of Donald Trump.

First, he has no heartfelt ideology. He goes with whatever he thinks might work for him.
But let's put that aside as well.

The man is a fucking low-class buffoon.

How can anybody who claims to respect America,
or even if such person doesn't respect America but wants to make it respectable--
how can such a person EVER vote for Donald Trump?

A president needs to have a measure of dignity.
A president has to have a measure of gravitas.
A president, who is not only presiding but also serving as chief of state,
must present an image of class to the rest of the world.
For better or worse, he/she represents us.

I vote for issues, but even then, there has to be SOME minimum standards for presentation purposes.
How can anybody claim to want America to be respectable and at the same time, choose as its representative to the world,
some fucking TV clown?

You want a "regular guy?"
You don't like elites?
Well, that makes you wrong to begin with but still, why Donald Trump?

He used to live in a Manhattan palace until Manhattan society started to treat him like the garbage that he is.
Then he moved to a fancy Florida country club that he owns. Nobody can get too trashy for Florida.

This is the "regular guy" that you want?
This is who represents you, you being a fucking devolved trumpanzee who can't string together a grammatically correct simple declarative sentence?
This is the king of the Joe Sixpacks of the nation? [And trust me, a more appropriate representative would be bad enough.]

I suppose that you yourself are too much of a troglodyte to even recognize what a crude vulgarian Trump clearly is.
A person of character would not be able to live with him/herself after voting for Trump.
Such a person could never be even a peripheral character in my life or my family's.
