Justices cheered at conservative group’s anniversary dinner

We need to reform the Supreme Court.
Why are left wing ideologues (or any ideologue) given lifetime appointments?

How?

Do we end presidential nominations and senate conformations as the system to choose justices?

The right, which loves the constitution, want to change the very few things that the framers got right and defend all the things upon which the framers fucked up totally.

Another example is term limits. We have elections. Why do we need term limits? I'm opposed to even the presidential term limit that we have now.
Conservatives hate government so much that they want to ensure that we have rank amateurs in positions of government all of the time.

who are you? john carter from mars? because that's an incredible jump to a conclusion.

Nice dodge, but you have been very clear for the past few years that, as a White Nationalist, you only believe white males have rights in the US and that you seek to "restore the Constitution" on that point.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Four of the five Supreme Court justices who overturned the constitutional right to abortion showed up at the conservative Federalist Society’s black-tie dinner marking its 40th anniversary.

Justice Samuel Alito got a long, loud ovation Thursday night from a crowd of 2,000 people, most in tuxedos and gowns, when another speaker praised his opinion in June that overturned Roe v. Wade, long a target of judicial conservatives.

At a moment when opinion surveys show that Americans think the court is becoming more political and give it dismal approval ratings, the justices turned out to celebrate the group that helped then-President Donald Trump and Senate Republicans move the American judiciary, including the Supreme Court, to the right.

Perhaps you shoukld re-read the OP and then my response to the alt leftie that created it.

disagreed. asking simple questions is not fighting.

are you incapable of adult rationale as well? memory issues? do you need mental health assistance of any kind?

You're free to take the coward's way out. It's not like it's the first time....and I'm certain 1/6 wasn't the first time you failed to heed the call either. LOL

No. Negative. Nope. You? Why didn't you go to 1/6? Laundry day? Wife wouldn't let you? You had to work?

Well, I am old. The fact you didn't go to 1/6, however, is still a remembrance even if you never gave an excuse for failing to show up for your much vaunted CIVIL WAR. LOL

Conversations like this also make a joke of your signature.

civil war is inevitable

In a combat situation it is about 16 times better to do something useful and violent right away than to wait and figure out something even more useful and violent later.

once again you show a serious disconnect between things that are said and things that you want to hear...........simple predictions of events does not mean anything else, like active encouragement or participation or even support.........

Regardless, you didn't go to 1/6 despite all of your talk about civil war and violently restoring the Constitution. Your choice. I'm just curious when a person's words never match their actions.

i'm sure somewhere on this board you might be able to show a post of mine that supports trump and the trumpers which would have compelled me to actually be at DC on 1/6? otherwise you're making, yet again, another stupid assed assumption

Thanks for, once again, admitting you didn't support the Civil War all your WSE friends chose to attend.

After all your talk, I thought you'd have at least gone there to wave a flag instead of sit at home on your ass. Your choice.
