NATO still won't send in troops. I remember when Sadaam tried to invade Kuwait, Iraq tied to drag Israel into the fight by shooting missiles at them. The Israelis didn't take the bait, their defense systems shot most of those scud missiles out of the air, anyway.
Now, if Russia actually purposefully attacks a NATO country, we'd have to act.
The Russian defense ministry said in a statement: "No strikes on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish state border were made by Russian means of destruction."
The question is: was it like the poison attacks, going back twenty years at home and abroad, which were deliberate, or the downing of MH17 in the Donbas, which was probably accidental? The Kremlin denies everything.
