First,......A whole lot of our LW posters have either dropped in post count a ton or quit posting almost completely. Why? They KNOW its over, DONE....The left wing shit show is toast. They KNOW they will be wiped out in November and TBH....They also KNOW Trump will again be elected President. They might never admit it but they damn sure know it,....you can tell just by how they are acting and the little bit they say.
Second...... for the few that continue to put on a brave front and stiff upper lip....THEY KNOW IT TOO. Its all for show. They are scared out of their minds that Trump IS going to be re elected. Thus the reason for all the Doomsday threads they start regarding Trump.
Best part? THEY SHOULD BE afraid. Everything they have believed in their whole lives is about to be SMASHED TO BITS right in front of them. Not a damn thing they are going to do about it either.Sooooo,.....Lets GET IT ON! Cant wait......The ass BEATING of the century is at hand.

I think after what happened to Mr. Pelosi that she is ready to turn the gavel over.
The new speaker will have to deal with the crazy caucus, MTG and all the rest of the Circus performers. They’re going to need major skills to control to left behind debris.

It really is. As much responsibility -- and scrutiny under the microscope -- as the job of POTUS, but without the perks.
I've known for two years that the odds were extremely low Pelosi would be Speaker in 2023.
I didn't think the GOP would have such a tiny, razor thin majority in the house that might be at risk in the next two years to special elections.
What made Stone and the other MAGA posters so comical is they spent six months spiking the football, and relentlessly taunting liberals with tales of a gigantic Red Tsunami
I think she was the best Speaker of the House in my adult life.

A long sight better than Ryan, Boehner, Gingrich, et al. Pelosi was and is one of the most powerful women on the planet, yet still she speaks softly and with the gravity of her office. She knows how to get things done and negotiate and compromise as well.
I hope her husband continues to improve.

An old childhood friend of mine "found Jeebus" a couple of years after high school and has now become a full-fledged QAnon Christian Nationalist.
Might have something to do with his second wife he married about a year after his first wife died.
She seems like a truly shrill looney toon who might hold influence over his already weak mind.
But on his social (or anti-social actually) media pages he and she and their goofball friends constantly push all that QAnon-sense.
When the subject involves Nancy Pelosi, the shrill level blows the roof off.
Their favorite thing to scream about her and Hillary, is that they are "evil".
Sad how the irony is lost on them in that both of these women at their worst, are more honorable, decent and better people than these Trumper goons are at their best.

It's so tempting to think of ppl like that as outliers, but far too many of us know someone just like them in real life, not just on the Internet. There is one of those in our family, too. They don't suffer from mental illness; as the old joke said, apparently they enjoy every minute of it. Do most people avoid them, is that why they're so shrill, because they feel that no one's listening?

I think it's all a cry for attention combined with a need to feel special and smarter than average people.
Like "I/we know the REAL secrets and dark truths that you people don't understand because you're not as smart or connected as me/us."
